Imdec model B-283 4020 tomato slitter and peel remover, serial number 30321, removes skins from heated tomatoes, tomatoes are feed onto 54" wide by 30" long open grid thermoplastic flattop chain, divided into 8 lanes and dropped into chutes, tomatoes are grabbed by rubber V-guide belts and run under twin slitting circular knifes at a close spacing, 1/8" deep cuts are made in the tomatoes and the V-guides narrow to squeeze the tomato from the peel, lower peel hopper with discharge screw discharges at a 20" height, 60" tomato discharge height, all stainless steel construction.
